My 12 Essential Belly Dance Tips

In these 12 clips, I will share with you my most Essential Belly Dance 12 tips to grow as a dancer. Starting at the very foundation of musicality and techniques, which will guarantee a smooth and stable development for any dancer.

Simplicity is key when starting out and moving to higher levels of understanding and abilities. The simpler you start the easier and more enjoyable the path ahead of you will be. 

These tips are tried and tested by me and by hundreds of  my students during my 25 years of teaching advanced classes and workshops around the globe.

I realized that no matter how advanced one is, the key to keep growing is totally reliant on the strength of one’s foundation.

A perfect beginning.

Any good technique starts with the correct posture, without is like presenting an amazing painting in an inadequate frame, hiding the beauty and expertise of the movement.

Here look at its basic technique and variations. This is an extremely versatile and useful movement that really expresses the essence of belly dance, visually, musically, emotionally, and culturally.

Arms tend to be a beginner’s struggle, but its right there at the beginning that it should be addressed! It takes time to build the strength and consciousness of framing your movements, ability to find your way into harmonizing with the rest of the body.
